Autumn leaves

In autumn find a lot of colorful leaves and we dry them. Later we are disappointed as they lose their color and become brittle. Thus I now prefer to scan the leaves with the scanner on my printer. It is an inexpensive one and gives surprisingly good results. At high-resolution I get an impressive magnification, which otherwise would need very expensive optical equipment. Then I use an image manipulation program to pep it up. Unreasonable parameter settings give often interesting results.

Simply make your own experiments. It’s the season now. There are many interesting free image manipulation programs in the internet. Here is a sample result:
